How important is your child?

When I started tagging (for image content), I marked a second use with either re-run, repeat, again, or again! (again, again! from watching Teletubbies with a baby granddaughter).

ReplyDeleteI am so thankful that you exist in this world and share so generously so much wisdom, so many ideas that have helped me and so many in this world!
I want to share something personal. I’m an immigrant mom, I come from a country where homeschooling is ilegal and never in my life before the pandemic I thought I would homeschool bc I didn’t know how amazing could it be.
I have had the support of my partner and also I could say my kids throughout these years of homeschooling but not many more people. My mom also died years ago and I don’t have a figure in my life that I could go to ask about parenting too. Sharing all these to say, having all these thought-provoking posts to read, listening to your interviews on podcasts, has felt a bit like “meeting a friend that gets it!”.
Your words have brought me so much inspiration and a gazillion of ideas to try but also comfort in doubtful or more difficult moments. So just a note to say THANK YOU, so much. You’ve changed our lives, for the better. All the joy, love, health and all good things in life come to you and your family!

Andrea, I'm really sorry I missed these when they first came though, and that you tried again. I've left both as they're slightly different, and as an apology for my missing the notifications, somewhere.
