What peace feels like

If we raise the level of peace our children expect, they will know what peace feels like.

Adults need to know what peace feels like too, though, and some feel it for the first time when they really start to understand unschooling.

Thank you for this post and especially for all of the good ideas to think about in the link at the bottom.

I think I'm noticing more clearly a theme when I read and ponder the posts or longer discussions. It
    (unschooling, parenting, relationships, life) is
not about perfection, right vs. wrong, a formulaic way of doing something, or a specific outcome--but rather, it's about listening, observing, exploring, helping, growing, awareness, choices--getting better at those things--little by little.

I love the idea & imagery you shared of "quiet alertness" like a mama hawk.

    Thank you 💗

  2. The "quiet alertness" passage refers to the /peace/noisy link in the post above, which goes to a page on my site called "A Loud Peaceful Home."
