Steps to feeling good

I don't want to make parents feel bad about themselves. I want parents to make decisions that lead them not to have things to feel bad about. Big difference. photo DSC02836.jpg
(I linked random page generator, as the quote came
from something not so uplifting.)

  1. This also reminds me of a talk (stored on your website) that you gave on parenting peacefully, where you said that getting to where you want to go takes one step at a time. You said that if a person looks across the room at a destination, they shouldn't expect to get there in one leap. I'm an impulsive person at times, but I remember listening to that, thinking, "Okay, I'm doing it. I'm getting there, and it's going well." I can honestly say now that days at a time go by where, as a parent, I have nothing to feel bad about...nothing to lose sleep regrets. I can say with confidence that you've been hugely successful in your goal.

  2. Karen, I love to know these things actually help people. :-)

I'm guessing it's in the Peaceful Parenting recording, maybe?
