Thread literally is a tiny cord, but thread figuratively is a series of connections, and so it comes full circle.
You can't see what a child is learning. You can't know for sure what she knows. She probably doesn't know what she's learning either, but all the little pieces will be connected to new information as time passes. I don't usually know what I'm learning, until I look back and see how my thoughts and experiences crossed, connected and unfolded to bring me to today. |
You're famous in your family.
Don't disappoint your fans!
Creativity and intelligence are seen in the ability to use a tool or an object for something other than its intended purpose. If you see your child (or your cat) doing something "wrong," set rules aside long enough to consider principles. |

It's really okay to "cherry pick" in regard to the stories you let into your day. There's enough horror somewhere on the planet at any moment to make us all suicidal, so make it a habit NOT to collect or dwell on those stories. You have a responsibility to create as safe and peaceful a nest as you can for your own family.
Thank you, Heather Booth, for saving that and putting it where I could find it again.
